2000 Trans Am WS6 has with Borla exhaust, but SLP tips. wonder if I have a few tips for the fringe that will change much bought, when the sound?

Tailpipes not really make a difference in sound when one is bigger than the other. A 3 "pipe will be substantially higher than a 2.5" tip. Actually a scarf that factors in the noise of car exhaust.
If between Borla SLP and you can not do anything wrong, because both are leading manufacturers and quality products. Just go with the style you prefer:)
Very little - the previous post is quite good in this respect. There may be some minor changes in the tone a little, but not much. It is little more than a change when the oval (flat), because of the change in the form of "distort" the sound, but here I let the change in appearance while deciding on the sound output!
